One of the simpler yet powerful ways to leverage LLMs is to use it to summarize a news article and provide additional insights. For someone short on time, this means reducing 10 minutes to 2. Not much individually, but consider the compounded effect - if you were spending 30-45 minutes everyday reading the paper, you could end up reducing it to 6-9 minutes!

Here's an example of a summarized Economic Times article from June 2025.

See the difference?

Rs 58,000 crore cash lying idle in 5 mutual fund schemes. Are stocks too expensive to buy?
Several mutual fund schemes are holding significant cash reserves, signaling caution amid high market valuations, particularly in mid and small-cap segments. While large-cap funds are deploying capital, mid-cap funds are increasing cash holdings. Some fund managers view cash as a strategic advantage, waiting for attractive valuations, while others prefer full deployment and internal allocation shifts.
Key Bullet Points:
• Over Rs 58,000 crore is currently held as cash by five mutual fund schemes.
• Fund managers are displaying caution due to current market valuations, especially in mid-cap stocks.
• Maintaining cash reserves is a strategic move to balance between capital deployment and risk management.
• Cash pile-ups suggest that fund managers may find stocks too expensive to buy at present levels.
• Managers are waiting for better entry points or a market correction before investing further.
Brief Insights:
The unusually high cash levels are a clear signal of prudent risk management by mutual funds amid perceived market overvaluation.
Fund managers are exercising patience and strategic restraint, indicating skepticism about current stock prices—particularly in the mid-cap segment.
This strategy provides them with flexibility to deploy funds rapidly if opportunities arise due to market corrections or price drops.
For investors, this behavior generally points to heightened uncertainty in the market, and the potential for volatility ahead.
Summary:
Mutual fund managers holding significant cash reserves are approaching the market with caution, suggesting concerns over expensive valuations and a readiness to capitalize on future investment opportunities when conditions improve.

You could do this individually to news articles in an entire newspaper but that goes against the whole idea of saving time. Or you could simply use the right FREE tool to do it.
